proper care following your procedure is necessary to achieve best results. keep in mind that in many cases some unevenness and loss of colour is to be expected. this is the purpose of a touch up visit.
week 1- your brows darken and thicken due to increase scabbing over the area. by the end of this week your brows should begin to dry out an peel/flake away leaving behind very light patchy pigment.
week2- your brows will appear light and patchy in areas
week3- you'll notice that your brows may begin to darken slight as new skin begins to heal and pigment returns to the surface.
week 4- your brows should be healed and slightly darker than 2-3. you will however, would have lost approximately 30-40% of the original pigment colour from day 1. your touch up visit will assist in building on pigment colour and retention while adjusting shape and any other issues that may have arisen.
Day 1 only- Dab/wipe area with damp makeup pad to remove excess fluid buildup EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR UNTIL BEDFTIME -APPLY THIN LAYER OF OINTMENT AFTER EACH WIPE.
FROM DAY 2 ON WARDS-
Apply after care cream 2-3 times daily for 7-10 days
Always apply before showering
Avoid wetting the area for 7-10 days
Avoid excessive exercise for 7-10 days
Avoid direct sunlight for 7-10 days
if the skin is itchy apply more ointment
Exfoliation is part of the healing process and takes 4-6 days
Do not pick, peel or scratch the crust off
The eyebrows will take 7-10 days to fully appear after the peeling has finished. At this point the colour will be lighter and more natural.
It will be 2-3 weeks before the true colour appears. For some it is perfect, others it may be too light, or patchy in some areas. If this happens you may apply makeup until your scheduled top up. Only apply once all crusting has detached from the brow.
